Default Weird noise problems.

What would cause me to hear noise coming from my main speakers that is very clear version of what my wife is watching in another room, different floor, different electric panel even? It was the Bravo channel.

Here's more details. If you follow the McIntosh Forum you know I'm troubleshooting noise. I have a Panamax which is decent, but it isn't quite to the level silence I'm looking for out of my Mc. I'm troubleshooting with an Evotek Aquarius that a dealer loaned me for a day. I plugged my Amp and Pre to the new Evotek and left everything else in my old Panamax and all the sudden the white noise went away, and it was replaced with very clear low volume of what's playing upstairs. When I moved everything else to the Evotek it went away. I have an Evotek EVO3 Sigmas on order and I'm curious how to solve this issue since I may have to have 2 power conditioners for the entire system.

Yes. It's a multi purpose Home theater. Cable TV, OPPO 203, TV, MX122, MC8207. Only the audio from upstairs was coming through. No video noise or anything.
I had my volume set to 100% and the noise was only audible at 3-4 feet away.

Sounds like faint RFI from the cable line. Only way around it would be to have a way to disconnect the cable from that room if you're not using it or have each cable run be a "home run" to each room from a central panel. The latter is how mine was run when I built the house. Then how often are you going to have the volume on the audio system up to 100% with no signal. Maybe Ivan knows of some simple way to eliminate it. The hum from the Mc amp is a bigger issue I would think.

I took the recorded noise and shared it with one dealer. He said it's gain noise, but could be a ground/power and isotek will clean it to dead silent.
I took the recording to my Mc dealer and he said there is no way it's a ground issue, he said something is acting like an antenna.
