Default Lampizator anyone?

any owners here? Contemplating the new Atlantic, but there are some many options on their site, it's hard to understand what all the differences are between product lines.

Thanks. I've read a number of stellar reviews of their products, but I was hoping others on this forum actually had some 1st hand experience.

I have only heard it once in an unfamiliar system and was not impressed. That said it gets a lot of favorable comments on a couple of other sites.

I've never heard the Atlantic, but I've heard a Big 7 in a system with Aesthetix Calypso, Jadis JA80s and Sonus Faber Amati Futuras and was blown away. It was a massive step up from the Meitner MA1 we heard in the same session, which in turn was a step up from my CDP, and if I could afford one I'd be a buyer. I've been eyeing the Atlantic as well, but by the time I add all the options I want (balanced, volume control) it gets pretty expensive and beyond my current means.

I had a Lampizator Level 4 in the same session and it was good, but the Big 7 was so far ahead it was hard to listen to anything else.

Do the products still look like they were made in a garage or have they improved that?

I don't care what it looks like, as long as it smells good

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I did listen to the Pacific DAC, very refined and analog sounding.
Worth considering in the SOTA DAC world but i still prefer Totaldac Twelve mk2.

Any recent lampizator experiences out there? Quite interesting stuff from upper end to lower end pricing.
