Test reports on it (I have no experience shooting one) indicate little recoil, easy to reacquire the target and 3 inch accuracy at 30 feet.

This P290RS is small enough not to print and will fire 9mm +P rounds allegedly with light recoil for a relatively small pistol and allegedly has the well-known accuracy and dependability of a Sig. (included were SigLite sights and Laser)

Hi mike,

I have a sig 228 and my favorite feature is the hammer block. I dont see a slide for the block on the P229. Does it still have a hammer block so that it can be chambered safely?

Mike, looks like a nice choice, at least it's a legitimate pocket pistol, some of the suggestions given weren't even close.......at least not for my size pockets !

Have tried to like the PPK(S), but every blowback 380 I've tried is really uncomfortable to shoot (obviously, ymmv). The reissued Colt Mustang may solve that problem, being the same action as a 1911. But, am mostly a revolver guy. Like my Ruger SP101 in 357 so much that I'm thinking I want to try one in 327Mag.

Here is one "compact" that failed.... Lucky day indeed for the intended target!

I have several that I swap out ever so often. Walther PPK/s, couple of different Seecamp's, and a variety of smaller cal. pocket pistols but I keep going back to a customized Kimber CDP 3" when I feel like a little horsepower....

Had a mint Luftwaffe-issue Walther PPK but it was too small for my hand. It kept pinching the skin between my thumb and index finger so I traded it for a Webley "Boer War Model" Mk IV with a 4" barrel. The Webley looks new and is a nice shooter.

Walther p22 is what used to be my pocket gun. Great little gun ,cheap ammo.
The walther p99 was not so great really hurt your hand after a box of ammo.
I also had a para ordinance warthog. Short barrel beast of a .45
With surprisingly little kick. Love that gun wish I never sold it.
But I moved back to nj where it seems only the cops and criminals have hand guns. So now I have nothing
