Does the Olympica 3 benefit from isolation/feet?

Does the Olympica 3 benefit from isolation/feet?
I'm not too concerned in theory that they should (I've seen some youtube a/b demos), but in practice, has anyone changed from included spikes over to any isolation device and noticed a difference?

I've read that isolation devices can make it sound worse (like wilson audio?), and it's floor and speaker dependant. So with sonus faber speakers, and hopefully Olympica owners, what's been your personal experience? How do you preserve the original angle that mismatched spikes provide?

I'd post this in the isolation section, but frankly I only want answers from SF fans.

Never tried it on anything other than the included spike and disc

I watched some youtube A/B test, and read many reviews of gaia 1, 2, and 3.
Keep in mind only so much can youtube capture from playing music on a video camera but....
Increased soundstage depth was drastic, and it was slightly more clear and dynamic.

A lot of internet forum posts agree about depth and said bass improves, louder and tighter. In some cases the sound gets worse.

I'd rather advice from SF owning peers though.

I've seen live A/B demos of Gaia on Focal floor standers *(918s, I think) and the difference is pretty noticeable in a positive way. The bass seems to clear up and image floats better. They're a solid product. I have not heard them on Olympica or any other SF, but in general, I tend to prefer Gaia or Stillpoints to spikes on any surface I've heard them on. JMHO.

This post makes me curious about not using any spikes or discs.

Have you decided to make any adjustments?

Currently I use the spikes and discs, but all are on top of a very thin towel so I can easily reposition my speakers. I’ve been haphazardly adjusting position every month or so to hear how the soundstage expands or contracts and how imaging is affected.

I’m no expert on speaker positioning (or chair positioning), so it is largely trial and error, but I take measurements & write notes. I’m curious about your results before and after tweaks!

I switched to Herbies Gliders for mine, they have worked really well on my suspended wooden floor, IMO better then the metal disc which came with my Olympia 3s....
