Small Boulder 1110 Interface Bug. :-)
When an input is set to Theater Mode, the display draws an "X" through the Mute button display on-screen to indicate it has no effect, and indeed pressing the front panel Mute button does nothing.
However, if you press "Mute" on the remote, the "Mute" box still goes inverted or back to normal when pressed a second time. Just a little programming bug but interesting nevertheless (perhaps only to an engineer…) |

I came across that by accident, too. While watching a streamed movie in HT mode, mistakenly grabbed the Boulder remote to mute instead of the SSP remote and surprisingly, it muted. But just the FR/FL in the Boulder way, 50 db instead of total. Sometimes useful when watching concerts in 2 channel. A small quirk in an amazing pre.
