Default Magico Q7

Anyone know the person or dealer that is selling the Q5? Also the reason why?

Eventually you don't know the person from your sarcastic answer.

Why not ask the seller? It is a legitimate question. I have done it when inquiring about a purchase, especially large ones. I personally liken audiophiles to 3 year olds we like shinny and new.

I wasn't being sarcastic and don't know what gave you that impression. Some people tire of components very quickly and there are times where even very costly equipment doesn't make you smile when you listen to it. Most certainly, if the owner was downsizing or moving, they could be selling a Q5.

I believe I know who originally bought/sold the Q5 posted on audiogon. If it's the same person, he first bought the Q3, decided to trade up and then decided he wanted something different.

If you're asking about the Q7 (thread title vs first post), I would imagine there's a similar story behind the change.

Yes, I'm asking about the listing on Audiogon for the Q5. Thank you for your answer. I figured on this forum this big someone would either know the person or know some history about the equipment. Just asking a seller questions isn't always the most prudent way of buying used equipment.
