masterlu i've been reading your thread for quite a while now , i know you're a die hard burmester, i will be looking for a pair of high current amps to drive a MBL 101e MK2, now what do you really think about the MOMENTUM mono amps by D'agostino which are 20k cheaper than Burmester 911 mk3.

Jim do you think the momentum will drive the MbL 101e Mk 2 with no problem in a 20x28 room

lucky
I would think that theMomentum's would handle the job nicely. That said you sure shouldn't have a problem if you decided to go with a pair of MBL 9008's or their bigger brother 9011's.

Lucky... I really wouldn't say I'm a die hard Burmester fan; I own many brands of gear and enjoy them all.

After your first ten posts you can start your own thread on the topic, or you can become a Subscriber now and we can PM each other; plus you will gain many additional benefits.

From front to back and side to side these are the best looking eye candy in a amp. Looks like they came out of fort knox.

@Still-One:

What kind of amp stands are the ones you use? I think they look great

These were amp stands I purchased from Ivan for my 1.2k's. You can check with him to see if he still carries the line. The were made by Tyler out of from Kentucky.

I was going to go with Dan's stands but I like the idea of them sitting a bit higher off the floor. It makes it easier to hit the power switch and I like the contrast of the aluminum and copper with the black stands.

Thanks for the tip I wasn't really interested in buying them, just curious about them

I too think the combination looks superb. Kind of like two kings on their thrones
