ALEXIAS INSTALLED/I too hesitate: Maxx3 or Alexia?
Having a good deal on Maxx3, having always dreamed of Maxx3 after a memorable listening session, coming from WP8, having to place them in my living room and not a dedicated room, knowing my beloved half doesn't like the Maxx3 design while loving the Alexia's one, having MC1.2KW without the will to change my system, etc etc....
I don't know what to do... 1-stay with WP8 (and my money). 2-go for Alexias, I really loved on last listening session, 3-go for Maxx3 for less money. What would you do/what do you think? Thanks. Jean-Marc. Last edited by Jean-Marc jmajma; 11-05-2013 at 03:14 PM. |

I actually prefer the sound of the Alexia over the Maxx 3, but either one would be a fine choice.

You'll compare the sound and choose. If it's important, the Maxx's will be much more imposing in your room than Alexia.

Jean Marc, you know what : buy the Alexia's ! then, in a few months / years ( I have time ) the Maxx 4 will be available. You will sell me the Alexias at 30 % of their list price and you will get the Maxx 4 ! How does it sound to you ?

Normally I prefer larger speakers but in this instance the Alexia just seemed to sound right. Maybe it was the set-up.
