Disappointment with a Psvane order....
Just received 2 quads of EL34 Holland Replica from Psvane. Those are supposed to be the best ones in the Psvane line.
Each tube came with its own measurement note. But in one quad, one tube arrived like that  :   I REALLY WONDER HOW THE MEASURES COULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN ON THIS ONE !!

That's ashamed. I assume they are sending a replacement under warranty.
Never tried the EL34's but have wanted to. I was not impressed with their 12ax7's. Fortunately though they arrived safely and worked. Regards, Mark

Jerome.......I am sorry for your disappointment. You must remember one thing. These are Chinese tubes. It doesn't matter what the folk lore is about Psvane or the other supposed topline Chinese tubes, Shuguang. These tubes are cranked out in bulk for a world market, while at the same time the factory is doing all that is possible to maximize profit. Honestly, do you believe the factory will take time to test and certify each and every tube manufactured? I'm guessing the little paper that come with each tube is printed in bulk, packed with each tube which may or may not have ever been tested. Nice box and presentation, though.

I sympathize with you. Back in 2011 I tried a quad of their KT88-T and had to return the set. After warm-up, I couldn't get one of them to bias properly.
