@jglacken I am piggy-backing on this thread as I don't see you've posted a separate one for your system.
I had the good fortune to travel to Bluffton SC last Saturday all day and into the next and get to meet 2 audio nuts that I've known for some time remotely on various forums and finally got to meet in person. Jeff was one of them and Crwilli was the other....it was a great day! Total musical immersion, two beautiful homes and systems literally across town from each other and a great experience. Jeff's is a great system, images incredibly well, has beautiful mids, bottom to top extension, naturalness to the sound and definitely has as very lifelike and natural/immersive musical playback character to it and a very well defined image. Exceptionally well done and beautiful system! Very comfortable and relaxing listening environment so much so that when it was time to get up, it was difficult to get out of the chair. Great pairing of Wilson Sabrina, Luxman M900u stereo amp, Bricasti M1 DAC with a killer server and streaming setup with both high quality PCM as well as native DSD material and like Crwilli's, great attention to detail on galvanic isolation, use of the right power supplies, routers, bridges, etc...to ensure a quality streaming experience! I've wanted to hear the Luxman M900u and latest Bricasti gear for some time; neither was anything less than SOTA and great musical playback rivaling gear at much higher price points! Thank you Jeff,...you've put together a great system in a beautiful room, very relaxing and with life folded into the room around the system so that can enjoy the music no matter what you are doing!!! Thank you to you and your wife for allowing me in your home and for all the warm hospitality! |

Craig, Jeff... well done!
Craig, you seem to know pretty well what you're doing. Great what you obtained. Positioning speakers in the right place is one of the most important things in a sound system. I won 4 dB of deep bass after a master had done this. And it is cheaper than an exotic cable!
