I listened to many speakers and I happen to like the Cremona the most. I went with the Elipsa Red because I could go higher.

I'm only questionning your intervention here if you don't like the sound and saying how the Cremona is an overpriced POS ...

I've never heard of the speaker you mention so I can't comment on how it compares to the Cremona.

Edit: you are comparing the Cremona to a speaker over twice its price. I hope that it kills the Cremona for that price difference...

Hallo antipop,

the Cremona is very very different from the Amati (that "you, I,..can not agree but i a good speaker! and have nothing to do with the Cremona...) yours Elipsa a too a good speaker. I dont will invest my $$ in a elipsa but if you like it is a good speaker. another plant from Cremona. the red violin is too a very great finished! the work nito the construction is much better vs other more expesive speaker.

is to if you libe pure tube song or not! I dont like the tube very well but the hybrid much more...is a personal taste...

with pleasure

Raidho,

It is difficult to understand your reason for starting the thread. You say you were wanting to buy a Cremona M, but the distributor told you there was a new model coming and to wait.

Now you are saying that you hate the Sonus Faber sound, and have indicated you find most of their speakers to sound terrible. I cannot understand why you would have been interested in buying one if you hate the sound.

If you like Tidal speakers, fine. Maybe listen to Marten Design as well if that is the sort of sound you like. It certainly is not the type of sound you get from SF.

The distributor is the importer, the sellers (you mentioned 2) are dealers who get the product from the (sole) distributor. Despite Bill's antsy comments, the information you were given and passed across in your post is correct for your market, and it was provided by a Sonus Faber employee.

So thanks for that, at least. But not for bagging our beloved Sonus Fabers
