Default need some help to find info about Magico new price

Hi,
I have my eyes on Magico Q3 or Q5. But shockingly. I see this news

Magico price increase. We just learned that on March 1, 2012 there will be a Magico price increase taking effect. For details please call us at 781-893-9000.

I called them to ask for new price of Magico Q3 and Q5 but due to my non-native English speaker accent, they told me they cannot tell me as they can't deal with someone outside of USA.

So if any body please help me find out what are the new prices of these already expensive speakers be ? Appreciate a lot

If you find them already "expensive", it probably means that you don't love their sound so much and should look elsewhere.
If you have the means and love the product, then you do not find it expensive and forget easily the price paid.

I know that Magico raised the price for the Q1s to $26,500, and for the Q5s to $65,000. I'm not sure about the Q3s, but I don't think they'd raise that price again so soon. I think the Q3s are now $39,000 (originally $34,000 ).

Hi K.TOGA,

Have you finished your exam? If not, good luck on that.
Let me know when you want to go listen to Q5 at my friend's room.

K Klao, Hi, My exam is not finished yet. My last session will be afternoon of 26, FEB.
Thanks for cheering, I am so exhausted. But on 27, dealer will right away bring
ARC REF250 and Magico Q3 to my home. I better stick with Q3 if I would buy Magico as it
offers me more flexibility on amplification. Sometimes I may do with tube like REF 250, too.
Q5 seems to need 1000 of expensive watts. and how many amp out their that has 1000w., not so many. May be Q3 + a pair of JL sub will do, don't know krap. But listening to your friend's Q5 is a must have experience, I will let you know when I have
more free time in March. thanks

TOGA

K.TOGA,

Well, then again, best of luck on your exam. Another friend just changed his speakers from Usher Be-10 DMD to Magico Q3. He's also using ARC Ref40, and his amp is Plinius SA reference. However, the room is perhaps only 70% of your room's size. Adding a pair of good, big subs is a good idea krub, despite Q3 is claimed to go down to 26Hz.

Cheers,
Klao

K Klao,
Let's hope Q3 provide the same bass performance in my room as in the showroom, then I will be happy enough.
Seems like there're so many Ref 40 in Thailand as well as Q3. In the future I might try Dagostino Momentum with Q3. Must be really interesting
