And to learn the Bose remote and transfer it to a Universal one should take no more than two minutes as there are only few buttons anyway. The hubby or boyfriend can do it for his better half (that's a nice short project to please the one you love).

Finally, The Bose Wave Radio system is not promoted as to be an audiophile component; unless I missed somethin' here.
What it is? ...A nice, simple, practical, good sounding unit for the nice, simple, practical, good looking ladies.

A) Since I have no significant other, that argument falls on deaf ears!

B) Bose has its market niche, and it did sound okay; I'd say it's pretty much what you describe. But I still wouldn't want one for the reasons described earlier.

I've past a bad guitar player with a voice that was worse in the street & dropped all the coin that was in my pocket for him. Why? Because I enjoyed coming across the sound & the experience. I have experienced the same with Bose & people.
