I've always respected Sonus Faber for their industrial design, they make some of the most beautiful speakers around...but this thing is ugly.

Yeah that was my first thought! It's just ugly, then factor in a pretty high price point for what it is, I can't imagine it being popular/a big seller.

I fully understand and respect that markets evolve and that people are 'into'; new fangled things and designs... okay I get that...

But this? From Sonus Faber?... It looks more like something Bose would come up with...

An integrated lifestyle system and a respond to devialet phantom? Both - I don't get it...

Correct. Both. Clearly intended as a simple stylish integrated music system for the Master Stateroom of your new Feadship yacht. I see a strong nautical influence in the design. You do have a yacht, don't you?

Just joking about what I perceive to be their intended target audience. Limited production at something like $10k, so clearly a luxury lifestyle product rather than an audiophile product IMHO. And no, I dont have a yacht either.

No worries...10G on an integrated system is rather extravagant. That said, I have seen audiophile spent 6 figures on a system and the power cable alone is 10G. Its all relative if one have millions in the bank...just not me and I am happier to keep the money
