I don't know if I would stop with the AAs. I've been puzzling through this choice, with Bill's help, for months, after having been a loyal Dynaudio owner for over 15 years. To me, the Futura sounds more coherent and more neutral, although I've never heard the AAs and Futuras side-by-side, so my impressions are biased and potentially flawed.

As of now, and without having heard the new Guarneri, I think the Futura and the Strad are very special speakers. I can't wait to hear the revised Strad.

Davos, thanks for your opinion! did you hear this combination or only the AR 150 ? i Must make my dicision to Change my palladios anniversaries to the Futuras this Week and I am thinking all the Night if its a good Change for much Money I have to Pay! greetings - Franz

Well Franz has Amatis whilst mine are strads so his change would visually be a little more like for like.

The strads are fantastic and I have no inclination to change at all. Only problem is they are a very tight squeeze in my listening room due to their width and the projector screen. I still prefer the look of the Homage line to the new ones
