After my dealer tried many different adjustments and ran numerous tests, they were still at a loss. I spoke with Mike at Musical Surroundings and he gave an RA number to send it back. Said he would check it out and work with Clearaudio to resolve the situation quickly.

Good luck. I hope you are back to enjoying tunes quickly. I would feel lost without my records. Digital just doesn't cut it for me like analog does.

Thanks. Yeah, it's been 6 or 7 weeks now and I am in complete vinyl withdrawal.

As I said earlier, while I have been without TT, I have found more great vinyl in excellent condition than I have in years.

While the Clearaudio Talismann is en route to Musical Surroundings to be be checked out and the issue taken care of, my VPI is now running with a Dynavector 17D3 Karat. WOW!

I once considered getting one. That styus is so bloody short it has to be a PITA to align correctly.

It is extremely short, for sure. My audio guy cussed a little bit. He had a hard time seeing it until he had two lights on it.

It sounds really good, but different.............I will keep listening until I form a detailed opinion and can describe the difference to myself for starters....

But, I have my table back it sounds good and I have a lot of new old vinyl to play this weekend.

Have a good weekend.

Bryan
