Syrup or no, that's a great set of auditions. Thanks for sharing your experience & the photos (David, glad no SF owners get that way )!

I had the pleasure of going to the 2010 HKG Hi Fi Show last weekend.
Here was the orig thread:
http://audioaficionado.org/general-a...ow-2010-a.html

After going thru the countless hi end room, from MBL's, Avantgardes, Sonus Faber, Audio Notes, and other hi end speakers, me and my friends felt that one of the best sound of the show was the Wilson Sophia 3 room.

The gang usually spends a few minutes on most of the rooms (10 minutes tops) but with the Wilson room, we've spend an hour and a half listening to the Boulder Media server fed into the Boulder Amps driving the S3s. Song after song, be it classical, jazz, vocals, it was just a delight listening to this system.

The Wilson room as always full, each time an audience leaves the room, 1 or 2 guys walks in and spends minutes listening to the system. There always seem to be a que outside the room.

At the end of the trip, most of us agreed for the amount of $ the S3s cost compared to other mega bucks speakers, it was the most bang for buck performance to cost ratio.

Cheers again to David Wilson for another fine product

Looking forward to hearing the S3s in my private room someday.
