Thanks everybody.
All is well. Though I guess I was a bit spoiled by buying demos as I never had to break them in. Now these tweeters have to settle down a bit. Might take a while. On a positive note, my Esoteric UX-1 just got back from TEAC America in CA. It was magically transformed into a UX-1pi. And a charge for $1,800 bucks magically appeared on my CC..... So that system is now whole, done, complete, finito....yeah right, who am I kidding? Hmm, what movie to test out the new video section..... |

This sounds like another major selling point of PowerGuard. I've had close calls, too, but those little orange lights saved my ass more than once.

How about 'Red', a favorite from director Krzysztof Kieślowski. Great cinematography, sound, and emotion. If you don't mind a running translation beneath the film...

Anyway, Red it will be some evening soon. Sounds like one the wife might like. But I wanted to watch something with my 7 year old on that system tonight. So it was Star Wars Episode 1. Total crap acting. But I'm sure it helped get those tweeters settled. We had a nice discussion about volume and amplification and speakers. I really love my kid. Stereos be darned. Peace. |
