Is there a reason why you won't stick with Anthem? The A5 would fit the bill?

I believe you would hear a big difference. I did the same thing, using my Denon AVR as a pre and hooking an amp to it. The difference was incredible. Much improve flat frequency output, separation, detail. And I don't think you will be disappointed with the Parasound. I would try to get a demo at your house.

The parasound is much better, and if you can afford it get the 5 ch Halo version.

I just broached the subject last night. It did not go over well since I just bought an Opp 95 and now these Martin Logan speakers! I'll probably have to wait until "next year" as she put it. January 1st is next year...

I'm shopping for new amps as well (I need nine power amps all togeher).
Perhaps one stereo amp and a seven channels one. * I'm getting rid of my two Emotiva amps (XPA-2 & XPA-5), as I'm not covered in case of a fire (no security labels on them). Protection first. |
