Default Watch Tracker App -- Fun for the, ahem, ***** retentive types

Allright, this is not a MUST have app, but I've been having a lot of fun (relatively speaking) keeping track of how accurate my mechanical watches are.

I could do it with a spreadsheet and a quartz watch atomic, but this is soooo easy. I learned which positions make my watches run faster/slower so when I take them off at night I can make up a few ticks (or slow it down by a few.)

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/watc...610666926?mt=8

For $4.99 I think it's worth checking out.

I don't. Those are the images from the app website. But I've heard positive comments about Orient watches.

You should check them out, they are an incredible value for the money. Automatic mechanical movements that are completely in-house manufacture. Check out my pics of my Black Ray in this forum.

Ah, that's where I saw the positive comments. The Black Ray with that leather strap looks F A N T A S T I C ... it has a very similar look of that $10,000 vintage Rolex sub that I was drooling after.

It does look like that Rolex sub. Actually, it looks most like a Tag Heuer AquaRacer Calibre 15. I have a buddy at work who is a big watch guy, and he has a Rolex Sub Ceramic. The first Rolex I've seen first-hand up close and personal; impressive build quality.

The Orients punch WAY above their weight class for build quality, durability and accuracy, though. Tough to go wrong for $139!

I've gotten a number of nice comments of the Black Ray with that strap. It's a BOB Marino strap with a polished solid stainless steel Omega style deployment clasp. Apparently a number of Omega Speedy owners use the BOB Marino strap to save them some bucks as a replacement strap for the OEM Omega leather strap, which is about $650.
