Sorry........ for me China is China is China. Supporting anything from China is supporting a corrupt regime that steals from others. Where did the circuit design for the PrimaLuna come from? Not like it is rocket science, but could well be copied from others. I don't support same. On the other hand, why buy from China. They don't purchase much from us (other than raw materials, which we should not sell them - they, like Russia, are the enemy). Apple has what? A 7% market share in phones in China and dropping rapidly. The Chinese purchase less & less from us (and other makers around the world) so why support them? Their policies are corrupt and I refuse to support them if at all possible. Especially in high value added products (like stereo gear) where decent jobs are at stake. I'll support McIntosh, Mark Levinson, etc., who make their products in NA or countries that are our friends.

Smile Wishful thinking aniversary model line up

How about an E-700 integrated (my created model number) as an uprated AB amp for their anniversary line up? Just like E-650/E-480 double ... you've got an E-800/E-700 integrated!

In China, of course - "designed in California" and made in China by FoxConn (a Taiwanese company). Like so many others; has as much to do with the current just-in-time supply chains as worker wages.

By the way, on PrimaLuna: its head office is in The Netherlands, the company was founded in 2003 by Herman van den Dungen, and he's still in charge.

Default Replica Accuphase E600

All they had to do was give it another name like AccuSound and it would be a flattering attempt. The blatant use of the trademark shows how little the maker cares about stealing.
