VERY Expensive Watches!!!!
In the March/April issue of DEPARTURES Magazine (An American Express Platinum publication) on page 72, An article titled "These Pieces Broke Auction Records This Year", at Christies Geneva watch Auction.
A 1950 Rolex (gold, moon & day/date) sold for . . . $594,015 and A 1942 Patek Philippe (gold, leather strap, moon, day/date) sold for. . . (wait while I gasp) . . . $2.8 Million Dollars. My question is - Which one of you watch lovers bought these watches? Ivan, did you buy the Patek Philippe? Serge, did you buy the Rolex? Or, did either of you buy both?
