Nasty pod coffee at our place in Florida. Looking forward to a return to my home roasts and the la marzocco (and my system). Enjoying tidal on the road though.

Hare bender from Stumptown roasters in Portland, OR.
Starbucks seems over roasted to me.

I recently was given a Starbucks Verismo as a gift. Not something I'd have purchased on my own since I'm somewhat of a coffee snob (reverse osmosis water, correct coffee/water ratio, correct brew temperature, and of course, quality fresh whole bean coffee burr grinder-ground right before brewing).

Anyway, I purchased two boxes of the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe about two months ago and I have to say, it was pretty damn good!

I hate snobs.
My process is quite simple. Mazer Grinder adjusted daily to yield 18 grams of ground espresso beans brewed with RO water at 202.4 F to produce 32 grams of espresso in as close to 24 seconds as possible.
