Default Got to hang out with another Aficionado today... Fritz!

Got to hang out with fritz today, cool guy and has more gear than me! He has the PM1 and the 803 diamond and just sold his CM9... So he's definitely more into bw than I am!

Lots of Mac gear... Also taught me some stuff about video and networking and such. Great afternoon!

Sounds fun. I'm in the DFW area if you guys care to include another AA'er
I'm listening to a new MA8000 integrated, Oppo CD/BR, CM10 speakers, but on the cusp of buying a pair of 803 Diamonds hopefully.

Lets do eeet!

Just need a little more time to get my gear together for a listening session!

Jagman - CM10? Alright, let's hear your system. Why not jump to the 802 Diamonds?

That's sounds so awesome!

I've got one buddy out here, Brent. We are suppose to hang out either in Nevada or California.

Sounds good. I'm out of town this week through Sunday but back the next. I'll send a PM.
Re: 802's, two main reasons, about $8k, (I can get a pair of 803D's for $7500 and honestly they aren't well suited for my new smaller house, post the last kid off to the world. We moved a year ago to a single story and I lost my media room, so sharing my family room and 803's are about at the max of what will work. Also I really find the 803's to make for a nice upgrade for my needs at this time with the MA8000 amp.

Looking forward to it Joey.
I forgot your 802's were for sale.
I'm afraid I'd need to upgrade amps and I just got the MA8000 and not ready for a new amp if I can avoid it, but still gonna send a PM to check your price

There is nothing I inherently different about power requirements between the 803 and the 802 diamonds.

No rush. I'm in no rush to sell as my dream would be if I could keep my 802 diamonds along with a pair of strads. Fritz knows the situation.
