I will pull the camera out in the next day or so and snap some photos. As I noted they are pretty stiff so they kind of stick out every which way.

I've 3 of PLMM2, feeding Moon W7M amps and Esoteric DAC.
the one that Feed DAC, I changed male plug+ IEC side to Furutech FI50 pure copper/rodium plated. Overall I think Transparent power cords 's strength are power and
punch, dynamic. There're smoother sounding cords out there, ie Anaconda CX.
I also tried PLMM2x at home on DAC, but I think my PLMM2 with Furutech plugs is already good enough, so didnt buy MM2x. MM2x and MM2 are pretty similar I don't see a good economic reason to change from PLMM2 to PLMM2x. TOGA

I do wish they were a bit more flexible so they would lay flat and it would make it easier to try them on some of my sources.

Jim
Jim,

Are you still using the PPP's for the amps, or are you going directly to the wall with the new MM2x's now?

PPP's are no longer in the picture. I traded one towards the MM2x's and sold one to a member here on AA.

I am going direct to the wall from the 1.2ks. It is funny but I may have to tweek speaker position due to the swap.

Jim,

Currently with my new 601's I am going to a dedicated circuit direct to the wall into a PS Audio Soloist Premier SE.
I do not plan on using a Power conditioner, but I would like to maximize performance over the inexpensive power cables I am using now.

So your experience here is very interesting to me.
Now that you have more time on the cables how would you describe their effect on the sound?

The bass is better formed and the background seems a bit blacker. They seem to be changing as they continue to break in.

Very nice to have a local dealer that offers in-home demo.
Really lessens the trial end error factor and cuts down on the hassle

Jim I currently have reference mm2 ic and sc. Using a reference power isolator mm1 for mcd 500 and c500t. 5 reference mm1 power cords are sill in the system. I was thinking of switching out the ref mm1 power cords to my 1.2kws for the new mm2s as you did going directly to the wall where each amp has its own 20 amp line. Can you give some more info as the hours add up as to the final overall difference and if its worth the 2.5k upgrade. Thanks.

Nice set-up you have there. I still have Ultra MM2 speaker cable but plan on moving at least to Reference MM2 once I figure out if I am going to my rotate speakers back to the short wall. I would need much longer sc as the amps would stay about where they are.

I think the MM2x's are probably fully broken in by now and continue to sound very good. I think the upgrade was worthwhile but would only suggest it to someone who isn't saving to upgrade speakers, their DAC etc.

I am still getting my arms around the new sound of my system. Over the past several months I have added the REL G1, sold my MEN-220, upgraded to the MM2x's and sold my two Power Plant Premiers.

Jim
