cycling your power cords
I have swapped my Transparent reference power cords around in my system. Took cords off my MC 1.2kws and put one on my mcd 500 another on my power isolator reference. These cords have several 100 hours on them. The current demand is higher on the amps then the cd player etc and I was told that in some cases if you leave the power cords on minimal draw components that it takes alot longer to break in if at ALL. My wife and I were listening to some music last night and we both thought the sound was improved to a degree. Every last percent counts in this game. This was my experience at no cost.

Interesting concept, William...whether it's true, or not, it surely can't hurt...and if we weren't tweaking our systems, what would we do, right?!

I didn't mean to doubt what you heard, rather, I was striving to be lighthearted and curiously skeptical if they would "never" break in on lower draw components. My apologies if my comments came across in any manner other than intended.
I'll be interested to see what others might say as I'm about as far from an electrical engineer as you can get. By the way, we Wilson owners need a secret handshake, or something...

Maybe we should receive a glove with the speakers in the same color.
