Default External DAC’s and Tube stages

Hi all

Maybe a stupid question but I recently purchased an external DAC which I plan to feed into my C2600 preamp then onto my Mc452.

Would the signal from the DAC run through the tubes on my preamp and then onto the amp, or would the tubes be bypassed?

If you are using a pair of interconnects going from the DAC output to the c2600 input you will running through the tubes of the c2600.

Nice system BTW.

Thanks for the swift reply, yes I plan on using the XLR outs from the Mytek Brookly DAC + to the C2600.

The Brooklyn will be fed by my Aurender N100H for Tidal and MQA.

My pleasure!

My next upgrade (Don't we all have them) will be an external DAC. The Mytek Brooklyn is on my short list. I want a DAC that is DSD capable.

I currently use the DAC in my OPPO UDP-205 when listening to DSD files on my Aurender N100H.

Very nice [emoji1303]
I have retired my Oppo105 after ripping all my SACD’s and wanted a DAC that was DSD compatible along with full MQA decoding, the Brooklyn ticked all the boxes at a decent price too. Next up cabling lol
