Default Repairs to amps

My ARC 610t amps need tome bias circuit repairs.

I will send them back to Minnesota but, if anyone knows of a Qualified tech that can work on them closer to Florida I would appreciate the suggestion.

Thanks Brad

I can't help you out with other recommendations, but I can say that ARC is very slow at turning around non-warranty repair jobs at the moment. I just had my GS150 fixed and it took them over 2 months for a very small repair.

The flip side is, I really trust them more than I would anyone else.

Default Send it to ARC - they will do it right.

Last year I had to wait 6 weeks for ARC to fix my Ref 5 SE that had been damaged during shipping to me by an out of town dealer. The repair was good as new and communication with their customer service department was easy and responsive.

Yes, they were responsive to me as well. So that's good, despite the overall slowness.

Have you ask ARC support if they have an authorized repair tech/center near you?

Someone reported good results here: Benny Amina of Modular Electronics in Roswell GA. You have to google contact info. considerably closer than MN.

Have another person in Georgia who does tube amp & speaker work. He did a great job on some woofers for me around the turn of the century. I'll dig up his info eventually.
He is in Marietta, GA. He said ARC gear should go back to the factory. Too many proprietary parts.

They are slow but you can fully expect “as new” results.
