Lm 755i's and/or vintage Altec Valencia's. I run both with the Cortese and they are both great in their own way. Before you shell out relatively big money, I would advise you to pick up a decent pair of Altecs on Ebay. You will be amazed at how they pair with Shindo gear. If you dont like them, you will be able to resell them for little or no loss.

Much will depend on your room setup.. If I remember you are working with Pitch Perfect, I'm sure Matt will advise properly.

In about 8 weeks you can add me to the list of Cortese owners.
Made a deal with Matt today to trade in my Montille.

Awesome! Welcome to the club. That's what I did too (traded in the Montille) ... though I now wish I hadn't :-(. That is one sweet little amp.

Congrats Dale- The Cortese really sings with the 96's. A clear step up from the Montille to my ears. Cheers -Don

Add me to The List! Thanks to Matt Rotunda's "trade up" program, I was able to replace my beloved EL84 Montille with the Cortese (the version that utilizes one 6WA8 tube instead of two). A great match with a Monbrison pre and a pair of Altec 846A Valencia's! One step closer to the Final Solution...
