The Spin Clean isn't pretty, ( I really hate that bright yellow color) and you're all probably right about the manufacturing cost vs the retail, but it works pretty well.

$80 for something that actually works, seems like a deal to me.

I like the idea of the dish rack to dry them, but I hate the thought of going to the IKEA store to get it. Maybe they sell it on line.

Reading this thread made me curious about the Spin-Clean record washer. Thought it would be good for cleaning those used and thrift store purchased records. I ordered one and got it today looking forward to try it out on some new and used vinyl over the weekend.

Robert.......After my new record drying rack gets reviewed by Michael Fremer I'm going to raise the price to $79.95. Hey, it worked for Spin Clean.

Got the Spin-Clean up and cleaned 22 LPs in my first tank full. Simple to use. I think I will add a distilled water rinse after cleaning in the Spin-Clean, but I will determine that after I listen to the LPs cleaned today.

Oh by the way the Dish Rack is for sale for $79.95. I know I could ask more for it since I had it coated with a special formulated material that improves sound quality. Just joking purchased at Wallmart.

You can spend more but it would be hard to find better for my wallet
