I managed to find a dealer in Germany, who was able to get a Smart Matrix 7" arm, which is the same one as the Okki Nokki, just silver instead of black. After talking to many overseas dealers, it appears most only have stock of the new style Okki Nokki arms which it sounds like are plastic instead of metal.

Googled up Okki Nokki today and see it is sold thru Amazon (isn't everything?). The reviews are considerably less than flattering, so went with the CA Smart Matrix Pro, which is their latest iteration.

I think you've made the right choice.

Okki Nokki has a great product at a great price but it seems to be more of a headache than any other RCM

I have an Okki Nokki and have experanced no issues what so ever. I have the metal arm and the whole unit is built very well. My local mac dealer has them in stock. As with any RCM most are a PITA because you have to do one at a time.
