Eddie Money had a faithful following around SE Michigan. For 28 straight years he was the opening show at the ampitheater known as DTE Music Theater or Pine Knob. His last show there was May 25. The man earned his "Ticket to Paradise".

RIP Eddy, he was a very ice man, great with his fans, and stayed true to his root. Sad 70 today is young, all those drugs, smoking, drinking... comes back and did hard.

Liked even his reality little show while it lasted, but his health failed very quick.

Comfort to the family, has nice kids...

RIP. He also seemed like a genuinely nice guy. I interviewed him once - this was back when I worked in radio - and he was very warm and gracious. It's always nice when stars act that way.
