Serge, I want you to get piano black because that is what I want in my theater. Seriously, I think Macademia would look great in there. I think you want a mainstream color to help resale.

No, you're not the only one here. And it's not that I think Serge is making a mistake. It's just another move in a long line of moves. Motivated, I feel, not by audio need, but by a psychology that's beyond my ability to understand.

Look, I like the guy. I respect the guy. In fact, I think Serge is a heck of a nice guy! I just don't get why he feels the need to indulge his every whim. And the reality is, it's none of my damned business.

It's not that complicated, in my opinion...it's about learning. A desire to explore what various gear sounds like by assembling systems which may satisfy more, or provide a different experience, than those before it.

By the way, I was told Mr.D'Agostino made some small improvements/changes since they first came out. I heard the freshly updated pair.
Serge.....would you happen to know more specifically as to what "small" improvements/changes were made to the D.D. Momentums, as I want to check if my "soon-to-arrive" (I hope) D.D. Momentums will have these incorporated already.......I wonder if "amati's" D.D. Momentums (over on http://www.audioaficionado.org/wilso...tml#post225986) have these improvements/changes as well?......Philip

If "I" don't indulge my whim "who" will??? By the way, my whole family enjoys the theater immensely so we all get satisfaction out of upgrades.

Besides, my dealer makes this happen all too easy, blame him.

In all seriousness, it is just a hobby, it is fun and I have select few things that I really enjoy in terms of audio. Wilson and Sonus Faber have been my favorite brands of speakers for a while, even if they are a slightly different flavor and have different strengths. If I can make a change of this magnitude and get everything I paid for all the components I have been enjoying for over a year now, I'm very eager to do just that. Obviously my dealer benefits as well, he is accommodating and determined to retain his clients and keep them happy. Does the number one ranking for Wilson sales say something about his outstanding service? I think so!

Philip, I'll try to find out. If your Momentum's are still making their way to you, I'm pretty sure Mr.D'Agostino has already done it.
