Default Auditioning some amazing equipment in SoCal at Weinhart Design...
Clearaudio Statement TT with new version Goldfinger and new Carver tube amps and Ear 912 preamp thru Magico Q5 and new REL sub One of the top two systems I have ever heard! Dave Weinhart is an amazing guy too! Picture below.

What kind of REL was he using??

All items in green were bought thru the AA marketplace and blue from a current AA retailer

From what I can see in the picture Josh, it appears to be a G1.

Bill..... you must have better eyes than me! Thanks!! I am really leaning to a G2 only because of the size and based on your opinion of the Futura / G2 combination.

Every time I look at the pic I second guess. I'm on a netbook.

You will love the G2 with Futura.

Darrin...thx for sharing. The EAR 912 and 868 preamps are very very good with the 912 having an amazing on-board phono stage as well. The only thing I don't like about both units is the volume control when adjusting via the remote. The slightest touch on the remote causes fairly big steps (up or down) in the volume so to fine tune you have to get up and do it by hand. Other than that, they are great preamps and good value for the performance they deliver.
