Perhaps, but it is still a lot like a sniffle!

I think you need a road trip to South Florida... You could bring a pair of the GM70's and a Giscours. We could then swap some things out and a some Uncle Sam greenbacks... Heck, if you got a trailer, bring some more toys! Last edited by FranklinLG; 09-15-2012 at 06:33 PM. |

quick question to all - does Petite Latour have 16 ohm nominal impedance (as larger Latour)?

I added a Shindo WE 618b step up transformer a couple of months ago This has the very hard to find western electric 618's in it which is why he doesn't make them anymore but no worries as I understand the auditorium t1 is equally amazing (but its not in a green box.
The TT is a Shindo 301. I also purchased a rack from Matt to place all of the gear on. Now I need to decide on a SACD player... Last edited by Freestone; 11-18-2012 at 04:56 PM. |

Awesome system. I would love to see some more photos. What tonearm and cartridge are you using on you 301?

Photos - I just don't have a photo account. If I could just paste them in I would - at least once the Box rack arrives to tidy everything up. Last edited by Freestone; 12-07-2012 at 06:33 PM. |

The speakers have arrived and Matt came over to set them up.
Now that I am relaxed and listening to them, they really are astounding. Exactly the immediacy I wanted. And so revealing. Each pluck of a guitar string and the consequent decay ... Voices really natural.... Detail I never heard before. Completely amazing. And I played one album three times - each time was a definite improvement over the other...look forward to the break in. Very very pleased. |

Very nice, I might have missed it, what speakers did you replace?
