A Serge without a Sasha is like a Messer without a Mac. You are not losing a "Sasha", but you are gaining a "MAXX" is probably very little comfort at this time. It might be theraputic to document with pictures the development of the Maxx's new home and AA can be your "Sponsor" during these trying times of separation anxiety. When I moved to Florida, I went 6 months without my Wilson Witts so I almost know how you feel. Maybe Dave Wilson, because of all the nice things you have said about the company, could send you a demo pair of Duettes to tide you over until the Maxxs are set up.
Hang in there Serge

Howard, I can also do an online AA diary of a day by day life without Sasha's. You guys would probably get tired of my whining in a few days though.

Ever since then, it was like a mad romance, I fell in love with the Sasha at a first listen, when I brought them home and hooked up the Lamm's to them, I simply melted in my chair. I expect the same from the Maxx 3s and for them to be my last investment into speakers for a very long time... It is a good thing I have a great relationship with my dealer, otherwise I'd go broke buying and selling the different Sonus Faber and Wilson speakers I've owned in such a short span of time.
Serge,

First - Congratulations on the Maxx 3. I know it will be a matter of time this pair of speakers will be with you.

Second - Knowing you, the wont be a "loss" in anyway as somehow, you will manage to strike a good deal. I got to learn from you how to do this. For sure, I had traded away at least half a Maxx 3 or more in my 2 years of merry-go-round.

Last but not least, I cant wait for your pics and reviews. Though I dont and wont be able to own any Wilson speakers for quite a while until I sort myself out, I still could go and gawk at yours and other very impressive systems in this forum!

Once again, congratulations!

Cheers!

Thanks Jerry! I am excited to own my dream speaker. I am sure you will be a Wilson owner once again real soon. In the mean time, watch Stereophile for a review of the Acapella speakers, they were very impressed with them as I am sure you are as well. Enjoy your system, it is a great one, no doubt and when the time comes, you will know what to do.

I don't have plans to change from Lamm right now, my M1.2s have plenty of power and the Maxx 3 is an easier speaker to drive than Sasha. I may have to find another M1.2 to drive the Polaris center though if I want to keep everything relatively the same. There is no way I am doing another 4 Lamm amps for the surrounds though in a 7.1 system. Cost and heat factor would be off the charts.

That's funny, that's what my dealer said as well. He has sold quite a few pairs of Sasha's already but I am pretty sure I am the first one to buy Maxx 3 and the Polaris. I do have to say, I am glad my money is going to Wilson, a product built with skill, pride and passion in USA and owned by an American not some overseas corporation.
