Congrats on the Max3, what a impressive sounding speaker. It sounds like you are not going to have separate dedicated 2 channel and home theater rooms ? When we talk you'll have to fill me on why your trading in the Sophia's now vs later ? I know he gives you a year to do trades. Your welcome to bring your SME 20 to my house set it up and listen whenever you want

I decided to consolidate everything into 1 room and concentrate my efforts on maximum enjoyment of both 2 channel and multi-channel. The Sophia IIs are long gone David, its the Sasha's I am trading in now. Get with the program man.

Serge...I don't have a spare anything to let you borrow (all my audio gear can be found in my signature) otherwise would have gladly lent you something for you to use. I was thinking however, maybe now is the time for you to pull the trigger on the headphone amp. The other thought is since your dealer is taking the Sashas back so he can use them as display units maybe in return he could let you borrow an integrated amp until your dedicated room is built. Just a thought. Good luck.

Thanks Cyril, I appreciate your generous offer. I am only kidding of course, I'll be ok... I think.... Great idea on the headphone amp though!

Sorry, Its hard to keep up with you I think in the last 12 months you have had 3 different pairs of hi end speakers in your home.

It could be worse, I could have brought 3 different women home and then I'd be permanently listening to headphones instead of a nice system.
