Taj Mahal at Seattle’s Jazz Alley - just plain fun.

Default What Live Music Are You Listening To Tonight

I got to hang out with Annie Clark aka St Vincent before her show on Saturday night in St. Paul, MN. She played a couple songs on the acoustic. It was the coolest part of the show. There were about 25 of us there.

Great. We were right next to the sound board. Could’ve been a bit more bass line. Overall I was impressed.

Had a blast. Haven’t smelled that much pot smoke in a long time!

Poncho Sanchez Latin Jazz Band at the Jazz Alley in Seattle for New Years Eve - great music, and everyone went out onto 6th Avenue at midnight to watch the fireworks on the Space Needle. Happy New Year all!

Saw Rosanne Cash & John Leventhal last night at our local theatre, great show. It was very simple, just Rosanne playing acoustic guitar and her husband John playing guitar, mandolin and piano and singing harmonies. She did a nice mix of new and old, with a number of songs from her album “The List,” based on her father Johnny Cash’s list of 100 greatest songs. They played for two hours, and then did a 3 song encore.
