Congrats on your Sophia's!!

Have you contacted your dealer yet to get an estimate or update on their shipping? They might have some insights as to what hold ups (if any) that might be happening.

I remember hearing about an international owner's system being held up in customs for a long time. Must have been difficult to have to wait so long!

@ Debbie

Thank You!
Yes,I have been in contact with my dealer, and with the general agent too. They do all that they can,and will inform me as soon as they got any info.

The Sophias was expected to arrive to Sweden this week. But even if they do,my dealer has a vacation a cuple of weeks. So I can not get my hands on them until he is back.

It is ok.I doesn´t mind. When my dealer is back,my own vacation starts, and You can all guess where I am going to spend it!

I just hope they arrive soon so i can put my mind at ease.Would be great that to go get them as soon as the vacation starts.

Best Regards

Sven,

It's nice of you to help New Order with this. I have a close Norwegian friend from the industry and he is full of Swedish jokes. It's nice to see our hobby transcends all.

Enjoy your new speakers!

Bob

I agree!

But the usual swedish/norwegian joke war doesn´t exist in the hifi community.
I am a member of a swedish hifi community site simular to this, and on that site we have a couple of active norwegan members.HiFi unites!

Thank You All for all the positive comments!I will try to post som pics when the Sophias is in place.

@ TMcD
I think You are correct!

A question.
Have looked through the Stereophiles recommended components 2012.When I was in the process of choose new speakers,I was ambivalent for a long time. The choice stood between the Sophias and S.F Futura.Well,You know what i went for.

I can´t see why these two speakers are in different classes! Can someone explain?

S.F Futura-A—Full-Range
Sophia 3- A (Restricted Extreme LF)

From what I have read online on Stereophiles measurements,The Sophias goes at least as deep (if not deeper in the lower frequencys). The Sashas are in the same class as the Sophias and they definitly go deeper in the lower frequencys than the Futuras.

How can this be?

Best Regards

My guess is that the Sophia speaker may have output in the low frequency area but may not be able to produce sufficient volume to qualify for full range by their definition. That should make no difference to you when your new sashes arrive. Enjoy!

My guess is that the Sophias is as capable as the Futura in the the bass area.
The Sashas most go even deeper then the Futuras.Isn´t it funny that the Futura is in the Full range class and the Wilson´s in the restricted extreme LF?

I think it is.

Btw.It is Sophias i have ordered,not Sashas.

Best regards
