Based on similar looks it’s a win but may or not be comfortable. And if not I’m certain one can find something close for a more reasonable price point. That said you get what you pay for. We still have a leather sofa, chair, and ottoman we purchased in 1996 and it’s held up very well. I like to get my monies worth, LOL! For reference I think was paid about $5K.

Come over and try mine . If you do some research on the web you will understand why the Eames lounger is what it is.

By the way I have seen the real one being sold at Costco in the past with the upgraded leather for $3900. The Eames lounger chair is one of those things I remember my uncle had when I was a kid and I have always wanted one. I decided to replace my old furniture with this one. Like so many things , wine , watches, cars, art , hi Fi system etc. everyone likes what they like.

Is there anything Costco doesn’t sell? I heard the other day you can buy a casket/coffin there! Imagine that. Hey honey, look that coffin is on sale this week...

I worked with a guy who owned black Harley Davidson t-shirts from all fifty state's dealerships.
I asked him what he rode, nothing he didn't own a HD. Different strokes for different fokes. It's all good.

Yep, people collect all kinds of H-D paraphernalia. I've also known a few people who used to collect Hard Rock Café t-shirts with the various cities on them never having visited those destinations. To each their own!

I have no desire to get into this discussion other than to say I disagree with this statement and could give several instances where it doesn't hold water.
