Wireworld versus Tara Labs

Time to move up from my Wireworld Silver speaker cable. Has anyone heard the Tara Labs The One speaker cable or any thoughts on if going to Wireworld Gold or the Tara Labs would be more of an upgrade?

Dave,

Of course not, I would like a little more clarity in the midrange, space between instruments, and more depth. I submit the speaker cables are the weak link in my system and changing speaker cables is relatively inexpensive compared to changing my speakers or another component.

I tried quite a few Tara Labs cables not so long ago. Frankly, at all price points I much preferred the WW cables. I simply found them sounding more natural, and dynamic.

The next step for you will probably be WW Platinum, as the gains going to Gold are marginal.

Thanks for the response...for me it makes more sense to wait for the Aerial 12T than to purchase the WW Platinum. I thought maybe going to the Gold or Tara Labs The One would bring a nice improvement over the WW Silver at a modest cost, but I guess I'm wrong.

Compared to getting new speakers right now. I've listened to a couple pair of speakers and decided I love my 7Ts, but can't wait until the 12Ts are released. Going from my previous speaker cable to WW was a big improvement; therefore I thought just go to the next level for now.

Understood, unfortunately the next cable level is almost as much as the speakers.

I would consider demo-ing the WW Platinums or wait until you have the 12T's and figure it out based on how those speakers sound.
I haven't been able to hear the new WW Series 7 Platinum speaker cables but I have been told they are state of the art in every way, and one of the best speaker cables available at any price.
I agree with Ivan that the upgrade you're looking for is probably WW Platinum as opposed to Gold, if it follows my experience with WW power cables of all 3 varieties (Silver, Gold(no longer in production), and Platinum).
