My wife does not even know how to turn the stereo on much less care about the components. If you put on music that your wife likes then she will listen. My wife listens to music that I don't care for like: Abba, Celine Dion, Carly Simon etc. you get the idea. If I play jazz or even rock like: Yes, The Who, Led Zepplin forget it, she is leaving the room. Once your wife hears her music on a good sound system she will be "ruined" I still laugh to myself when I think about her saying that .
