Cool, by the way, the BDA-3 is really sounding good after a little burn in.

Hi Robert

Yes I have to say we have about 400 units out there now and I get accolades daily from customers about how happy they are with their BDA-3's.

It is my greatest pleasure in this business to see our customers enjoying our products

James,

Will the BCD-3 have digital inputs allowing it to function as a DAC? If so, what digital formats will the different inputs support?

Thanks,

Cyril

Hi

No the Bryston CD player is designed to provide optimum performance for Redbook CD playback so there are no external inputs to the internal DAC which would require compromises of Redbook playback.

It's my pleasure too
I am really satisfied with my Bryston gear and the new CD player looks interesting. If the new CD player is designed to the best performance with Redbook, that will also mean that it will not play SACD?

Correct SACD requires a different type of drive and different clocks etc.

How does it sound compared to a BOT1 into a BDP2?

Will it rip?
