Julian,
I am not sure I've owned 71 different pairs of shoes over my adult life, let alone cameras. Wow.

You might want to wait until the X100F ships in early 2017 and then decide.

With respect to refresh rate, resulting in shorter blackout times when using high-speed AF. For general purpose photography there is not much difference though the EVF is a bit cleaner and crisper and has less noise in low light.

This indicates to me that I am an absolute equipment boob and change cameras about as often as I change speakers and/or, about as often as I change my underwear. P.S. in addition to the two Fuji cameras I mentioned, I also currently have a Fuji X-T10 and a Fuji X-E2 . . . as well as a Sony A6300 and a Sony RX100IV (With which I took this picture of the Hungarian Parliament Building at night a couple of weeks ago - A tiny little, almost point and shoot - but damn nice camera . . . through the glass window of a dinner cruise boat on the Danube). Click on the little picture if you want to see it - didn't want to post a great big Sony picture on this Fuji thread - because, after all, I do like my Fuji cameras better.
Julian
Your photos of the Hungarian Parliament much better than those I took with my phone in May. I may have to check it out.

I did not know the replacement was forthcoming. It would make sense to wait a bit. Thanks.

Yes, it will be called "F" for "Fourth" (S for Second, T for Third...)

Predicted features: X-Pro2/X-T2 24 megapixel X-Trans III sensor, higher max ISO, larger battery (same as X-T2/X-Pro2) faster AF, improved EVF, joystick for moving AF point, no tilt screen, same lens, front command dial (along with rear command dial).

Definitely worth the wait. My pants aren't on fire
