Jerry
I have been rocked many times by so many different types of speakers and systems out there. I just cannot own them all. It seems like every one of them does something very well in one area or the other. This one does bass better, this one is faster, this one seems more lifelike, this one does vocals better, or this one does strings better. The grass always seems greener in someone else's pasture.

Keep us posted if you are coming over, if I don't get to Singapore before you come maybe I will try and at least fly down and meet you for a day.

Jim

Yup, agree! Once you own it, somehow, the magic disappears! Indeed the grass is ALWAYS seem to be greener on the other side.

My timing will be like end November/December. It had to coincide with my wife's ability to take leave plus my girls having no vacation planned study schedules.

You are most welcome ... but for only a day in Singapore? Come on, you can make it like a weekend right? Fri thru Sun, then fly off/home.

Jerry,

Thank you soooo much for taking the time to post your thoughtful review.

I have long enjoyed your reviews and your path to audio excellence.

I am in complete agreement that sometimes simple is best!

Now, you have a system that is beautiful, simple and I am sure delicious sounding.

Thanks again, my friend. Now, go and enjoy!

Howie,

I am booked the whole day for each and every Sat as I earn my keep as a chauffeur to my kids by fetching them around for tuition, one after another.

However, the evening (late - after 9 pm) I would be free.

I fully comprehend that the wife's schedule is more important that ours. Definitely mine is for sure. So, I will wait for your call and sound to my wife that you may be coming over on this Sat for a late night session - if you can that is. Then of course, we can go for supper in one of the hot spots in Singapore, like 3 am in the morning perhaps!

Cheers!

Jerry,

Are we ever going to hear your review of the PS Perfect Wave vs. MCD500??? And Jeff Rowland vs. 501's???

Or, are you just enjoying the music so much that you don't have time???

Stephen.......I spoke with Jerry the other evening by phone, and he is in the process of packing things up for storage while his entire home goes through a complete renovation. I think he is also selling, or at least thinking of selling several pieces of gear in anticipation of moving back home once the work is complete, and putting together a brand new sound system. For now, Jerry and family are displaced, so I don't think we will be reading about a PWD/PWT verses MCD500 shootout any time soon.

Thanks for the update.

Moving, packing and being displaced is no fun!!! It will be worth it for Jerry.

I am facing the same, none of it bothers me except the idea of not having my music...

As much as Jerry loves his music, I bet he feels the same.
