I've posted quite a few photos of recording studio executives already. Here's one of Allen Klein, really their corporate attorney, who managed Apple Records from 1969 to 1973.

I came across a series of photos of Miles Davis in his Malibu, CA, home. Here you can see Miles with his McIntosh. It looks to me like an MR-80 tuner and a C-33 preamp.

Here is a McIntosh C26 (far right) at what I believe is Village Recorders in Los Angeles. Steely Dan's Countdown to Ecstacy was also partially recorded at Caribou Ranch in Colorado. In the photo on the back of the album, the C26 was largely cropped out of the photo. Here's a better picture.

what about the Nakamichi ,maybe BX300

Definitely a Nakamichi. Not sure of the model. It looks very much like my BX100 but with more controls.
