That's what I've read. I truly find it hard to believe that such an enormous amount of time is needed, but anything is possible, I guess.

Wednesday, I'll have a Powerflux to compare with, too. But I've auditioned the Powerflux, before, so I have some idea what to expect. I currently also have the Furutech Power Reference III in house.

I'm looking for a good match for my Mcintosh MR88 tuner. I'm finding it very tricky to get a satisfying, not fatiguing sound, from it. So far the more expensive cables sound worse on the MR88. It would appear that additional resolution is not appropriate for this device. Right now, The Power Reference III is sounding really, really good. Matching IC's are on the way, too, for both the Power Reference III and Powerflux power cables, so I can try them as a set.
But I'm surprised how much I like the Power Reference III. I'm really looking forward to partnering it with either the Lineflux IC or Audio Reference III IC.

I'll be trying the NanoFlux mostly on my C500T preamp in comparison to my reference, the JPS Labs Aluminata. The NanoFlux isn't going on the MR88, not only because it doesn't sound as good as the Power Reference III, but because I'm not putting on a cable of that price on the MR88.

I'm actually comparing the MR88 tuner to the $100 Sony XDR-F1HD, and honestly, despite it's obvious shortcomings in comparison to the MR88, it's EASIER to listen to in my system, which arguably leans to the somewhat bright side. I'm trying to see if I can maximize the performance of the MR88 with the Furutech cables because I listen to the radio quite a bit.

No surprise I guess considering your investment. Even when you find a better cable the logistics of switching cables would be a nightmare. It's always fun though experimenting and finding where other cables do things better while the platinums do other aspects better.

Resurecting an old thread here, but I have an opportunity to buy a Furutech Nanoflux for very decent price, like 500$.. I was set on Shunyata Alpha HC but is this could be even better? The seller says he has the documentation but I wonder why so cheap and if there are known fakes considering high prices.

Looks to be fully fake. The braiding is slightly different on the real thing or at least the cable in your picture looks different than the real thing.
Also, what the heck is going on with the IEC end?

That one looks like what I saw when I was checking out the fakes on Ali Express, a few years ago.

That’s a bad fake; the Real Deal looks entirely different. Not to mention, last looked they were $4500 each.
