Thanks for the advise and update. So, the 808v6 is the latest and I believe so is the DSP8kSE (even the 40th Anniversary can be upgraded to this same level - and the man who owned 3 sets does so, at an immense cost though) that I have heard.

But the music is just so nice, so much more analogue, I could not believe it. Stranger being older DSP8k's can be brought up to the same level, not many systems can claim that.

Yes, the DSP8000SE is real true to the source. If the source is upgraded or more High-Def the DSP8000SE will render it.

I have only heard a pre-production 818v(3) on the DSP5200SE speakers and it was half a year ago. Alot has happened since then but I expect we should be able to hear the new versions 818v3 and 808v6 before christmas.
