Default Who doesn’t love a great audio rack

Hoping the title catches your eye, I have a question I am struggling with. Having blown most of my current budget on my components (including cable and power), I have little left for rack and isolation. Having read a ton, and not too many people that I know A/B different rack systems, here is my question:

Is it better to spend very little on a rack (VTI/Pangea/Salamander) and spend a bit on some type of footers (Stillpoints, HRS Nimbus, Isoacoustic)? Or

Spend a bit more on a Timbernation/Mapleshade Samson and skip the footer until i save up?

I think I read that the wood stuff doesn’t really do much for vibrations, just look real nice. It seems to me that you really need to spend over 3-4K on a rack in order to hear an audible difference. Thoughts?
