That's a lovely diamond Rolex Oyster Jim. The mother of pearl dial & roman numerals make this time piece look distinctive. Your wife is a lucky lady

So Jim, it looks like you might have a few audio wildcards, what'll it be?

Yes Ivan I think the pendellum has swung back in my direction after this one!

Have my eye on a DAC so that I can get rid of the 400 CD changer. And maybe wait to see what new technology comes down the road with projectors!

Hi Jim,

No i'm not a collector, but I have wanted a Rolex watch since I was a teenager & vowed I would own one one day. At the moment there are 3 models I like; the Day Date II in yellow gold with a President bracelet & roman numerals, a Submariner Date with the blue dial or, if I get a windfall inheritance one day, my dream watch is this one...

Is almost the same watch that I gifted my wife recently.

David, You sound like me in the fact since high school I had a Rolex in the back of my mind that one day I would get one. Lucky for me my wife bought me the Submariner with black face for my last birthday...

You have good tastes in watches... Let us know when you get yours... For me personally, Rolex is worth the wait.

Thanks Ian, I will definitely post some photos when I reach that goal. The black Submariner looks very smart
